 Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

In this most wonderful and exciting time of human history I bless you in the name of Jesus and pray that the eyes of your understanding would be opened wide to know how much He loves you and how He is hoping for you and me to fulfill His purposes in and through our lives. Each one of us is a member of His body and each of us belongs to the rest of us. (Rom. 12:5)  As we faithfully do our assignments, prophesying, serving, teaching, encouraging, contributing, governing, and showing mercy, (Rom 12:6) His purpose of bringing everything in heaven and earth under His rule is enhanced. When we get sidetracked doing other things, even very good things, we are a hindrance and worse yet a nuisance.

Our assignments or tasks are as varied as we are. They are spread throughout all of the facets of life. Jesus’ government or Kingdom is in good shape in the heavenlies where He reigns far above all rule and authority, but the Kingdom has not yet come here in its fullness. It will. It will come in the Church, Family, Educational systems, Government, Media, Sports, Arts, Entertainment, Finance, and Business. Our specific assignments are spread throughout these areas.

Jesus, the owner of His house, is returning. He has left His house and “put His servants in charge, each with his assigned task.”  Mark 13:34 Are you His servant? If so, He has given you a task. What is your task? Are you doing it? Are you being deceived into thinking your doing what He wants because some guru type person has told you what you are to do? Do you think that just because you are doing something “good” you are faithful? The enemy of the best is the good.

The owner of the house is still communicating with His servants. Ask Him if you are doing what He wants, if you are in His will. Ask if you have surrendered your self-government (the final fruit of the Spirit) to someone else? Ask if you have exchanged His life for a religion. Do not be deceived.

Western Christianity is not a pattern of biblical “Church.” It is a paganized, self centered, egotistical religious system that defies the fullness of life, which Jesus came to give us. To think that being a Christian and “going to church” means that for an hour or two a week I go to a building patterned after pagan temples, or the synagogue system that the Jews brought back from Babylon, and listen to professional musicians, even sing a little with them, listen to a highly educated speaker give a pep talk, pay my dues or tithes and go home is ludicrous. This system is an enemy of the Church of Jesus Christ. This system emasculates the servants of Jesus and keeps them focused on anything but their personal task or assignment.

Obviously this extremely negative assessment does not fit all churches, fellowships, or assemblies, but it is typical of westernized “churchianity.” To get a fresh and exciting view of the church and the worldwide Christian, sudden growth take-over, read Jim Rutz’s great new book, Mega Shift. It inspired me to re-evaluate my walk and ministry, and to press in to God harder and harder, to see myself as He sees me, and to not waste His time in secondary pursuits. This world, as we have known it, is being drastically changed. The birthing contractions of His Kingdom are here. May the hope of God for you and me be fulfilled. May we not come short of His/our destiny through unbelief, ignorance, or false religion.

Wow! This is heavier than I intended when I sat down to write. However, if the shoe fits wear it. If it pinches you, take it off and fix it. God has a lot invested in you by His creation of who and what you are, by the redeeming work of the cross, and the indwelling of His Spirit. Let Him have the reigns in your life and listen well.

I arrived back in California June 10th and have been twice deep into Baja, Mexico, made short trips to Ventura, Diamond Bar, Vista, and the usual stops around here. God-willing I leave for Taiwan a week from Sunday and will return August 8th.

Please keep us in your prayers. May the great God of grace inspire us to throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith…Heb.12:1,2.

“From (Christ) the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Eph. 4:16

Love in Christ,

Frank and Betty
