Blessed friends and privileged partakers in the restoration of all things,

Wow! Some of us have been expecting all that is happening and sounding the trumpet for years. Now the time has come, the heat has been turned up, and who is equal to the task? Answer: Only Christ, and therefore we, His literal body on the earth must respond.

This Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:00 AM, I will be presenting a detailed teaching about all these things. Normally our Saturday church meeting is an organic meeting – something like a free-for-all led by the Holy Spirit – but this coming week we will be videoing my presentation for use on the internet. Therefore the meeting will be more “traditional” in the sense of one person leading or teaching, but the message is quite “untraditional,” and truly radical – to the root.

I guarantee you will be impacted if you come (please do), but your response to our privileged assignment is completely your own free choice. If at all possible, please come Saturday to Green Oak Ranch in Vista, but at least pray for this presentation and the use of the internet. We “old guys” are not as familiar or comfortable with this powerful tool.

Also on Saturday we are planning to ordain Patty Huber and any others the Lord lays on our hearts before then. Patty has been functioning in ministry for years and has become an articulate and very effective spokeswoman for God’s grace and His radical new covenant. Many whose lives have been touched by this servant will be present to add their “amen’s” to the recognition of her ministry.

PERSONAL UPDATE:

On June 17, I received an “Implantable Defibrillator” on my chest and in my heart. This has been a lot more traumatic than I expected, but Friday marks six weeks and I can start using my left arm, lifting it over my head, riding the bicycle, and swimming. The surgeon was excited to tell Betty about the “divine intervention” in the process.

I postponed the cataract surgery until recovery from the heart business is further along and hopefully finances improve.

The Mexico trip has now been finalized. God willing, we leave August 13 for San Quintin, Vincente Guerrero, and Zapata. As of now, the mission team is Rick Hohn, grandsons Jesse and Sam Tebay, and me. Others are welcome to participate, but too many will add some problems regarding transportation. The four of us and maybe one more can fit in Rick’s van.

In spite of the problems from the “light and momentary afflictions,” I have never been more excited and expectant. Please join us Saturday to catch some of the enthusiasm. If you must wait for the internet releases, please pray for us this week and also seek Him for your assignment.

We have prayed for two thousand years, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Keep the eyes of your heart focused on the disappearing space between heaven and earth. Harry Chapin’s words in the wonderful Cotton Patch Gospel are the best expression for here and now: “Everybody say, whooeee!”

Whooeee with love,

Frank
