Dear Friends and Loved Ones,
Thank you all for your prayers and concerns for my health
issues. It was a difficult ordeal, but I seem to be fine now. The doctors
still don’t know what it was, but the spider bite is my best guess. I felt
the Lord told me that He was going to clean me out of more than whatever
toxins had invaded my body, and sure enough, that is what He did. I feel
good and the last symptom of skin peeling off my hands is about over. I
was able to attend a reunion in Arizona and get back to teaching,
preaching (?), and stirring up trouble, which is what I seem to do best.
The book, “What Is This Thing We Call Church?” is getting
some responses, but of course not the kind of raves I would like. The
publishing possibilities are still just possibilities. Please pray for
this project if God puts it on your heart. It is difficult for me to keep
focused on the continuing book project. My thoughts and sharing seem to
turn to the issue of time and times. In that vein, here are several
summary statements to chew on, each of which has radical implications for
us and life:
The age in which we live is a seven thousand year span.
The seven millenniums are patterned after the seven days of
creation.
We are now in the transition time from day six (man) into
day seven, the Sabbath millennium or the thousand year reign of Jesus.
All creation is being, and will be set free from its
bondage to decay.
The changes on planet earth and in mankind will be as
different as life before and after the flood. (i.e. Increased life span
and intelligence; changes in times and seasons and weather patterns.)
Religion is also presently enslaved in decay and crud.
God allowed this deterioration and rotting of
the things of creation in hope that the Body of Christ would set it free.
We sons and daughters of God are the agents to bring about
this freedom.
During this seventh day we are to rule with Him with a rod
of iron.
All our activities must come out of rest during this
Sabbath Millennium.
And, here are some questions to be considered as we accept
our place in the Kingdom of God in this most exciting time that has ever
been:
Will Jesus physically return to the earth to reign during
this time, or will His government be through us, His physical Body?
Have the tokens of this new millennium begun to manifest
themselves, or will they be instantaneous, or both?
How long before the majority of people on earth follow
Jesus? (Jim Rutz in Megashift estimates that at our present rate of
growth it will happen by 2032)
What is my personal role and assignment in this? Who are
the ones I am to serve with?
All of these statements and questions require a close and
intimate relationship with our Father. Live always in His presence and
serve by the faith of the Son of God - not by might, not by power, but by
the Spirit of the living God within you.
Robert Fitts and I will be presenting a Saturday workshop
that will fit in with these questions and statements and will help you be
the living, miracle-working, child of God you are created to be. It will
be on Saturday, July 26 at 9:00 AM, at The Place, 4168 Avenida de la
Plata, Oceanside, CA. We will have lunch together and dismiss around 4:00
PM. The suggested cost is $30.00 which includes lunch, but no one should
stay away for lack of funds. Please let me know as soon as possible if you
are coming.
